Yamaha Motor Europe have strong rider line ups for the 2025 EMX125 and EMX250 Championships, showcasing a blend of seasoned talent and promising newcomers.

EMX250 Championship – VHR VRT Yamaha Official EMX250 Team

In the EMX250 class, Yamaha has formed the VHR VRT Yamaha Official EMX250 Team, a collaboration between VRT and the esteemed VHR team led by Bruno Verhaeghe. The team will field two standout riders:

  • Ivano van Erp: The Dutch rider, a former Junior Motocross 65cc World Champion, has shown significant promise in European motocross and is eager to capitalize on his previous successes.

  • Janis Reisulis: The Latvian talent dominated the EMX125 Championship in 2023 and, despite an injury setback in 2024, is determined to make a strong impact in the EMX250 class.

Both riders will compete on GYTR-kitted YZ250Fs, reflecting Yamaha’s commitment to nurturing emerging talent and achieving excellence in motocross.

EMX125 Championship – MJC Yamaha Official EMX125 Team

The MJC Yamaha Official EMX125 Team will feature a four-rider lineup:

  • Dani Heitink: The Dutch rider aims to build on his impressive rookie season, which included two race wins and multiple top-five finishes.

  • Mano Faure: The French talent seeks a strong comeback after securing podiums and top-five results before an injury cut his previous season short.

  • Jarne Bervoets: The Belgian rider is poised to demonstrate his full potential following his rookie season in the class.

  • Levi Townley: At just 14, the New Zealander and reigning Junior Motocross 85cc World Champion joins the team, bringing fresh talent and ambition.

This diverse group, all riding GYTR-kitted YZ125s, positions Yamaha as a strong contender in the upcoming season.
