In MXGP, Tim Gajser set the pace in free practice on his Yamaha. His team mate, Maxime Renaux was second fastest so it’s a postive start to the weekend for Yamaha.
Romain Febvre was third quickest with Jeffrey Herlings fourth. Pauls Jonass rounded out the top five.
Kay de Wolf and Lucas Coenen are seventeenth and eighteenth.
In MX2, Guillem Farres set the pace over Sacha Coenen with home hero, Ferruccio Zanchi fast in third.
Valerio Lata is also looking fast at home as he was fourth with Janis Reisulis rounding out the top five.
