In the EMX250 free practice session at St Jean d’Angely, it was local talent, Maxime Grau who set the pace on his WZ KTM.
Grau was nearly a full second faster than Karlis Reisulis with Cas Valk third. Rookie, Mathis Valin was fourth fastest with Ivano van Erp rounding out the top five.
Valerio Lata was seventh fastest on his Beddini GasGas.
