Dylan Ferrandis will not race anymore supercross this season with the French flyer concentrating on outdoors and defending his title.
Dylan said: “Together with the team @starracingyamaha we decided to not go back to racing for the remaining rounds of @supercrosslive.
“I just returned to riding motocross and I felt that my wrist was not fully ready to support the load of supercross, plus I got sick last week and lost a week of physical training.
I will focus on getting my wrist and my fitness back to 100% and be ready for the outdoor season.
“I will be in Atlanta for the race this weekend as a fan, something I haven’t done in long time… see you there.”
With an in-form Tomac and possibly Herlings and Cairoli racing AMA motocross in 2022, it will not be easy for Ferrandis to defend but he is certainly now making it his priority.
