Guillem Farrest was having a great start to the outdoor season in America with some great rides well into the top ten and battling for the top five but the young Spaniard got wiped out in the big start straight crash in race won in Colorado with Yamaha confirming he has broken his arm.
Star Yamaha have said: “The Spaniard underwent surgery yesterday in Vail, Colorado, to repair his broken arm injured int he first 250 MX motocross at Thunder Valley. An update on his status will follow at a later time.”
It’s a big blow to Farres who was riding superbly after winter of ful focus on motocross, to then get injured in just hos fifth moto of the year without a mistake from himself, will be hard to take, but he has shown his potential!
