There has been rumours about Isak Gifting racing in Australia or Canada next year but we believe this isn’t the case and the young Swede will race the MXGP World Championship in 2024.
Rumours suggest that Gifting will sign with the JK Yamaha team for the 2024 season, an Italian based team which likes to work with young talents in the MXGP World Championship.
After a good MX2 GP career, Gifting ages out of that series for 2024 and therefore has been on the look out for an MXGP ride.
The JK Yamaha team had Swiss rider, Kevin Brumann under the awning this year but he is on the move to SixtySeven Husqvarna Racing team for 2024 which has meant the Italian team have been searching for a replacement rider for the upcoming season.
