The Riley Racing Yamaha Team concluded an agreement with the talented Hakon Fredrikson. The Norwegian rider will participate in the rest of the EMX250 championship series for the team.
Fredrikson finished third in the 2020 final standings of the EMX250 European Championship class. He was regarded as a title candidate this year. An unfortunate injury in the lead-up to the season put paid to those chances, and now, having recovered, the Norwegian aims to work towards attaining his top form again within the professional structure of Riley Racing Yamaha.
Olaf Haazen, Riley Yamaha Racing team owner, commented: “Hakon is an extremely talented rider, whom we love to welcome within our team. He will make a perfect addition to Toendel and Meuwissen and we are aiming to conclude the season with a flourish. We are in full preparation to put our best foot forward during the next round of the EMX250 series at Teutschenthal in Germany.”
