Team Manager of team USA for the MXoN, Mike Pelliter, has confirmed that Julien Beaumer will be representing team USA at Ernee next weekend – and he only asked the young American this morning!
Mike told Race Day Live: ” It’s been a heck of a day to be honest with you from free practice yesterday, I want to give a shout out to Chance, it was a hard conversation but the right one to make, he’s unfortunately going to miss MXoN.
“It’s been a busy 24 hours going through this paddock but we have made a decision already this morning because are leaving Tuesday, we had to do this quickly and Julien Beaumer will take that spot on the 450 so we will have him, Levi Kitchen and Cooper Webb.
“Julien has always wanted to go, he is super passionate about it and sometimes that gives you an extra gear with that passion. The hard oart is we are leaving Tuesday and it’s a tall to ask this morning and say ‘hey, what are you doing next weekend?’
“The KTM group has been incredible to try and put this together with a bike situation and testing and that. Julien is really excited, I just left the KTM truck to come here to be honest.”
