Confirmed: Austria’s MXoN team selected

Austria have confirmed the riders who will contest the MXoN which heads to Mantova next month. Despite a number of Grand Prix riders pulling out of the event as it’s during the World Championship season and no GP points are on offer, Rene Hofer will race!

The riders selected to race for Austria are as follows:

• OPEN: Marcel Stauffer
• MXGP: Michael Sandner
• MX2: Rene Hofer

Both Sandner and Hofer have been racing the MX2 World Championship this year and have plenty of experience despite their young age so they’ll be looking to impress. 

It’s a strong team so Austria will be hoping to break into the top ten of the Nations classification.
