Cole McCullough to contest MX Nationals UK series this weekend – MX2

This weekend 15 year old Milwaukee KTM rider Cole McCullough will take part in his first competitive championship race in the UK this year.

McCullough has secured a late Wildcard entry for the MX Nationals event in Hawkstone park, riding in the Pro Fastest 40 class.

The young teenagers busy schedule this year hasn’t allowed him to take part in any UK events since the Hawkstone international back in February so it will be nice for him to race back on home soil.

Cole McCullough: I recently did an EMX250 round in Holland a few weeks back and really enjoyed racing the bigger bike. I have a five week break ahead of my next EMX125 race at Matterley Basin so this weekends race is going to keep me race ready. My 125cc race bikes are at the workshop in Holland, so the option to race the Pro MX2 class seemed to be a good one.

Philip McCullough: I would like to thank Kevin and the team at the MX Nationals for securing an entry in MX2 for Cole at this late stage. He enjoys riding the bigger bike and like in Holland a few weeks back, there is no expectation or pressure on him, it’s all about bike time and having fun in the process as we prepare for the final EMX125 next month at Matterley.

Cole would like to express his thanks to everyone supporting and backing his Milwaukee KTM team as he takes part in his debut adult race this weekend.
