Barcia reveals he’s signed with Gas Gas for two more years

A very chatty Justin Barcia revealed in last night’s press conference that he has re-signed with Red Bull Gas Gas for another two years.

The aggressive star has been having a fantastic season, maybe his best 450 supercross year ever, despite not winning a maim event but the speed and consistency is there every week to do it.

Barcia, after saying he was an avatar because he was so connected to his bike, said: “I’ve signed with the team for another two years, that’s not really out there yet, it’s out there now. I’m stoked on that. I’m happy, I’m enjoying racing.”

On his day in Atlanta Justin commented in the press release; “Atlanta was a really good day. I’m stoked on the team and myself and my riding. I had the family here and it was awesome. I qualified P5 and had a good heat race. I was riding really well, battling with Jason, and he went off the track. So, I took the heat race win by I believe you say, default. In the main event, I got off to a pretty good start, charged hard, and made some passes, Chase and Kenny were riding really well. I was able to get around Kenny. He pushed me hard the whole race. It was great. I wasn’t able to catch Chase, but I had a really good ride for second. I’m really looking forward to New York next week. It’s my hometown race.”
