Confirmed: Lucas Leok signs with Norman KTM for 2027

Young Estonian talent Lucas Leok will continue his EMX125 campaign in 2027, but with a new team behind him after signing with Norman KTM.

Leok enjoyed a promising rookie season in the EMX125 Championship in 2026, finishing tenth in the final standings. Despite it being his first year in the highly competitive class, the Estonian showed plenty of speed and potential throughout the season.

For 2027, Leok will remain in the EMX125 class but will make an important step in his career by joining Norman KTM, the team responsible for running KTM’s official programme in the championship.

With both Ricardo Bauer and Moritz Ernecker moving out of the class for 2027, Norman KTM have turned to Leok as one of their riders for the upcoming season.

It will be Leok’s first experience with the backing of an official KTM structure, having competed with a privateer setup during his rookie campaign. With a full season of EMX125 experience already under his belt and another winter of preparation ahead, he will be looking to make a significant step forward.

There’s no doubt that Leok has the speed to challenge towards the front, and joining one of the leading teams in the class could be exactly what he needs to take his next step in 2027.

Leok posted the news on social media:

THE JOURNEY CONTINUES!  I am really excited to be racing for NORMAN KTM FACTORY ROOKIES!

Grateful for KTM’s trust in me and the opportunity to take the next step in my racing career. Can’t wait for the 2027 season!
