Jett Lawrence has given a blunt assessment of his 2026 season, calling it a ‘failure year,’ but the Aussie is very motivated for 2027 saying he’s coming back for revenge and that a 100% healthy Jett will “be dangerous for them.”
Jett said on Instagram with Santos Studios: “I’m already excited for the 2027 year to come. I felt like I left a bunch out on the table with 2026, and for me it was a failure year with only a couple race wins and stuff like that. So yeah, we’re coming back for revenge and we’re gonna come back stronger, fitter and better. And hopefully this year they’re gonna have a hundred percent healthy Jett and then that’s gonna be dangerous for them!
The Aussie added: “Off-season has basically officially started a bit earlier for me but I’ve got some hardware taken out, some damage cleaned up my ankle, we’re on the mend out here in Newport, California, and just kind of grinding away. Obviously I have Dr. G looking after me well then I have all the Santo crew to go to gym and cycle with and kind of keep me in check, which is the perfect combination to having a successful team even a successful brand, you know?”
