Official: Billy Askew and Dirt Store Triumph part ways

British talent Billy Askew and Dirt Store Triumph have officially parted ways after two seasons together.

Askew has spent the last two years with the British-based team, allowing him to focus on the EMX250 Championship alongside the MX2 class in the British Championship.

During his time with the team, the young Brit has shown plenty of potential, with one of his standout performances coming at the brutal sand circuit of Lommel. Askew secured an EMX250 moto win at the Belgian venue, widely regarded as one of the toughest tracks on the calendar.

However, his time with Dirt Store Triumph has now come to an end, with both parties set to go their separate ways ahead of the 2027 season.

Askew is still expected to compete in the EMX250 series in 2027, although his plans for the upcoming season have yet to be officially announced. Further details are expected to be revealed in due course.

The team posted the following announcement on social media:

“After two amazing years, Billy Askew will be departing Dirt Store Triumph Racing.

“Billy has achieved some huge milestones with the team and the TF 250-X over the past two seasons, securing six podiums in the British Championship alongside some fantastic rides in the EMX250 series, highlighted by his race win and overall podium at Lommel earlier this year.

“It’s been a pleasure working with Billy, and we’d like to thank him for his dedication, hard work and commitment to the programme over the last two years. All the best, Billy!”.
