Eli Tomac is set to make his long-awaited return to racing this weekend as the AMA Pro Motocross Championship heads to Spring Creek for round seven of the 2026 season.
The American has been sidelined since the opening round of the championship after suffering a crash that resulted in a neck strain. Since then, Tomac has missed the opening six rounds of the outdoor campaign as he focused on recovering before making his comeback.
The four-time 450MX Champion will now line up once again aboard the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing machine, providing a major boost to the series as one of the sport’s biggest names returns to action.
KTM confirmed the news via social media, posting:
“Eli Tomac will be back in action this weekend! The four-time 450MX Champion is returning for the Spring Creek National aboard his KTM 450 SX-F FACTORY EDITION. See you on track, ET3”.
Tomac’s return adds another exciting storyline to the championship as he looks to build race fitness and finish the season strongly after an injury-interrupted campaign. Fans will be eager to see how quickly he can get back up to speed at one of the most iconic venues on the AMA Pro Motocross calendar.
