Eli has, amazingly, managed to get his broken tooth from Daytona reconnected, giving him a full grill to take on the triple crown in Indy as if nothing had ever happened!
Tomac told Lewis Phillips: “It’s bonded back together.They saved my chip. I was actually pretty frustrated when it happened, I kind of stormed off the podium there! And then we started laughing about it a little bit. Jade went back up there and picked it off the stage. And we saved it. And good thing I did, there wasn’t a big enough, there was still one piece. So it literally has bonded back on.”
Tomac will also get a new trophy to replace the broken one and Eli was absolutely glowing about his start to the season giving himself an A plus! More from a very happy Tomac below:
