The Cat Moto Bauerschmidt Husqvarna team have started a new project for the 2026 season which is running a development structure. The new structure will be called the Cat Moto Prospects team.
Dutch rider, Roan Tolsma is the rider that’s been signed – he will contest the EMX250 series as well as the Dutch Masters of Motocross and other selected events.
Andre Stumpf (team owner):
“We are happy to have reached an agreement with Roan to join our new Cat Moto Prospects structure. With this program, we want to help riders who are not yet at an international top level benefit from the experience we gained with Cat Moto Bauerschmidt Husqvarna. This includes training support, a solid organisational structure, and a competitive bike provided by Bauerschmidt, while also giving the rider more freedom with their own sponsors”.
“Roan is a hard-working rider who gives 100% day in and day out. We are excited to see how big the step will be for him after this winter. He is already at a quite good level in the sand, and the goal will be to put in some effort on hard pack to reach the same level there as well”.
The team confirmed the news on social media:
Roan Tolsma in our all new Cat Moto Prospects structure. Roan will represent the team in the EMX250 as well as in the Dutch Masters! Looking forward to helping Roan reach the next level in his career, as we are sure he will put everything in to make it happen
