Chase Sexton says Jorge Prado rides a wide bike as the defending champ got his first taste of trying to pass the four-time world champ at Red Bud!
Sexton, who rode his way into race pace throughout the day had a slow start to the first moto before finding his groove and really having a great ride in moto two, working his way into second and trying stay with Jett Lawrence until he went down and finished fourth, told Lewis Phillips: “I was thinking I don’t want to get cross jumped, he (Prado) rides a wide bike, let’s just say that, he wasn’t doing anything crazy, but he rides a wide bike. My pass was pretty aggressive, we didn’t hit but it was pretty aggressive.”
When asked about MXoN, Sexton wasn’t sure what was happening, saying he might not get picked: “I don’t know. I might be there spectating – I might not get picked. Those guys have been racing all summer, so maybe they deserve it more.”
