Race One: It was an eventful at the front of the pack. It was Áron Katona who was at the front and despite the brutal conditions, was looking a million dollars – but then he crashed out of the lead.

That allowed Niccolo Mannini to get to the front on his TM, he looked to be riding a solid race. He then had Filippo Mantovani for company with the latter then crashing out of the lead. He was able to catch and pass Mannini again to take the win – the first EMX125 race win of his career!

Jarne Bervoets had a solid ride to bring home third ahead of Katona who passed Bellei on the final lap. Cole McCullough had a bad first lap which saw him outside the top thirty but he battled back through to sixteenth.

Race Two: Conditions at the worst they’ve been all weekend – the race was total chaos! Crashes everywhere but Jekabs Kubulins was riding like a kid possessed. After getting stuck in the mud with a lap to go in the opening race – he took the led and never looked back in race two – what a win!

It was all going on behind him, Mantovani was in a position to win the GP overall but then it all went wrong and he got stuck! That meant Bervoets who ended up second in the race took his first overall win. The perfect birthday gift!

Joining him on the podium were two TM riders – Mannini and Pini! McCullough was outside the top ten but battled to take sixth in race two which was good enough for tenth overall on the day.
