Race One: Moritz Ernecker got the holeshot and was looking superb at the front. He did have Levi Townley in hot pursuit as the top five stayed relatively close for the first five minutes.
Ernecker had a crash which allowed Townley to led and he then started to pull away at the front – he ended up with the win, impressive!
Sleny Goyer from France is good in the sand and finished runner up with Finnish talent, Viktor Leooala in third. After a bad start Leok was flying and worked his way up to fourth, with a good start he could challenge.
America’s Wyatt Duff rode well for fifth while Ernecker was able to get back up to eighth but will be kicking himself.
Race Two: Leok took the holeshot in race one and never looked back dominating at the front! Behind him Townley didn’t get an ideal start. He quickly got up to fifth but was stuck there for a while knowing he had to get third to become champ.
He dug deep and made it happening finishing up in third behind Van den Broek who had a better start in the second moto to show his real speed ending up second.
