Young Motion Racing change brands and outline MX2 2023 GP plans

The Powered by Young Motion team is very happy to announce to have signed a partnership with Dutch Yamaha dealer Resa Racing, with the goal to step up to a permanent spot in the MX2 GP’s.

As part of this collaboration the team will enter in 2023 under the name ‘Young Motion powered by Resa’.

Wout ten Thije, Young Motion: “The past year we have gained a lot of experience in GP’s and EMX, including nice results such as 11th overall in EMX250 by Meico Vettik and our first world championship points with Glen Meier. We want to build on this and become a permanent MX2 team. With the partnership with Resa Racing we can offer a strong Yamaha package, a dedicated workshop and technical support. And it’s great that we now have a partner who is located within a kilometer of our offices!

Rene Satink, Resa Racing: “We got pretty excited when we found out about the plans of the team! For a modern MX shop like Resa Racing it is nice to give back to the sport by supporting young talent. At the same time we love to show our customers a bit of the GP experience in our shop and also use the knowledge we will gain with this adventure! And doing this with Yamaha makes it a no brainer for us as a Yamaha dealer.
