Webb has a big crash in Australia

After cruising to the first moto win, Cooper Webb’s night in Australia ended in disaster in race two while battling Jake Moss in the top five early in the race. Both riders hit the deck and Cooper Webb went down hard and got up holding his arm and in pain.

Webb has since confirmed he has escaped any injury posting the following update:

“Just wanted to give everyone an AUS update. Won Race 1 and then had an unfortunate incident with Mossy in Race 2 and went down. Fortunately, all good just some whip lash. Appreciate all the love and hate that I didn’t get to finish the night out for the Aussie fans

Jett Lawrence had a bad start in race one but got back to second, but Webb cut him off hard at the start of race two with Jett going into turn one last then he crashes later in the lap and pulled out of the race – a disastrous race two for the fans and organisers!

*Update…Jett Lawrence confirmed he isn’t injured but won’t be racing the final moto after his bike was damaged on the crash and couldn’t be repaired.

But the Aussies still got a Lawrence winner with Hunter leading wire to wire in the second moto after he hit the gate in race one.
