Two British Kawasaki teammates set the pace at Namur as the old-school 80s style of defending world champ, Dave Thorpe, takes on the new-school 1990s elbows up style of a teenage Paul Malin in front of a huge crowd and plenty of Brits at the legendary Namur!
The duo would go on to win the 1994 MXDN with Malin on a 125 and Thorpe as team manager – but in 1990 they were teammates and rivals!
