Mattia Guadagnini has a storming weekend in Spain, with great starts and even betters speed to take his first ever MXGP podium in the premier class in a showing that displayed the high level talent the enthuastic Italian really has, keeping his championship leading teamamte Prado of the podium! It proves it was the right decision to move up during the 2022 to get some 450 experience after his MX2 season wasn’t going in the right direction. That experience along with his talent and the team’s expertise have allowed the Italian to get early sucess in his first full season with 450 in the toughest motocross series in the world.
“What a weekend!” said Gaudagnini, “I have been wanting this podium for a while because I could see that my speed was getting better and better. I need to thank the team for their support and sticking behind me. Both motos were really good today, with great starts, so I want to keep this up.“
