If it wasn’t for bad luck Jago Geerts would have no luck at all as the Belgian got taken down in the first turn of a wet French GP qualifying race – after he had done all the right things and beaten Vialle to the first turn!
Geerts wasn’t able to remount and looked to have injured his arm or left shoulder, but he has just updated everyone on his status, saying there is nothing broken and he will try and race tomorrow!
Jago said: “Good news, nothing broken just bruised. Now time for the physio to be ready for tomorrow’s races.”
The Belgian won’t have the best gate pick but it’s better than it looked a few hours ago when it appeared his world title dream might be over.
