When you see this view of Lucas Coenen’s crash it makes it even more evident just how lucky the young Belgian is to be able to line up this weekend at Foxhill after his KTM endoed violently over a very fast jump! Thankfully Lucas will be at Foxhill and the fans can hopefully see another duel with the youngster and the still blazing fast veteran, Jeffery Herlings.
Lucas was so fast at Southwick, he had come from last to fourth when the crash happened in moto one that even Jett Lawrence admitted he learned something from the still 19 year old’s sand skills!
Jett commented: “We got to see it in the first qualifying. We got to learn a few things, you know, off of Lucas and how he rides the sand and stuff like that, where it’s like picking up that Euro way of riding a sand track, you know? So we kind of got reminded of how to ride sand again!”
