Cooper Webb fell out of the lead in the first 450 heat allowing Aaron Plessinger to come through for a very popular win with Webb coming back to fourth just ahead of Tomac.
But his gate pick won’t be ideal for the main!

Meanwhile in heat two we got the Jett Lawrence v Jason Anderson battle for the lead and there was certainly a little aggression.
Anderson missed a rhythm to allow Jett by only to pass him back then miss the same rhythm again the next lap!
This let Jett to go by for good and take the win as Roczen got Anderson for second in the last turn with Sexton fourth.

Jett subsequently said in the press conference when we asked about the hear race: “That heat race was fun with Jason. I tried making sure I didn’t show my respect in the racing, with him and his previous racing I was trying to mentally think to get into this rut but for some reason my body was being very cautious going to the inside! But no, he rode good that heat race, it was a fun battle. It was fun going back and forth with him. When it’s racing like that I would rather do that all moto with Jason, it’s a fun way to race.”
