Jett Lawrence Q1 time was just enough to hold off a rapid Cooper Webb’s Q2 time by 9 thousandths of a second, with all the big names on pace bar Aaron Plessinger the red plate holder who is back in tenth, albeit still within a second of the top time.
The times are close around the short circuit which will see starts being important.

In the 250s it was the Q1 timed that held giving Pierce Brown the fastest time over Max Anstie with Vialle and Forkner looking fast but Haiden Deegan was back in eighth – is the wrist holding him back?
It should be an interesting night of racing.
