“I have intention on racing in 2025.” The words of Eli Tomac in an interview with NBC supercross reporter, Will Christien, that will enthuse his fans!
Eli said: “I love racing, in general. That’s why I’m here, so I will be racing in Pro Motocross and SMX. I’m going for all of the 2024 season and I have intention on racing in 2025.”
Tomac also discussed his recovery from his achilles injury, and not having as much prep as he would like before this seasons supercross series and the self doubt that he could win again.
Like Jeffrey Herlings in MXGP, who told us he is also considering extending his career beyond 2025, both legends seem to be enjoying the process of racing their way back to the front after injury, and for fans, there is nothing better seeing the greats stay in the sport and battle for wins against the next generation.
