Tim Edberg parts ways with Riley Yamaha – looking for an MX2 GP ride

Tim Edberg didn’t race the seventh round of the MX2 World Championship at Maggiora as he decided to race the Swedish Championship instead. The reason for that decision is because he’s revealed he has parted ways with the Riley Yamaha team and  is on the look out for another team to race the MX2 World Championship.

The Swede has good potential but has had injury issues this year so will be hoping to put that behind him and secure a GP ride for the rest of the season.

“Found myself riding Swedish championship this past weekend, really fun to be back riding at home. I had a good time and I finished 1st in all sessions, perfect weekend. As you all may wonder about my future it’s still very unknown. I’m on my own now but I will be on the search for a comeback to the GP’s. I hope to comeback soon with some good news. Thanks to the people helping me out”, Edberg stated on social media.
