After spending the 2023 season with JHMX GasGas, Sven Van der Mierden has decided to make the switch to Kawasaki machinery for the 2024 season.
The former GP rider, has inked a deal with the Laurense Motors Kawasaki team to mainly focus on the Dutch Masters of Motocross and ONK Dutch Championship but will also contest selected International events.
“Happy to announce that I will race for the Dakcentrale Netherlands Laurense Motors Kawasaki Racing Team in 2024. My main focus are the Dutch Masters and the Dutch Championship 500cc but besides this I will also ride selected international events. Looking forward to this new adventure”, Van der Mierden stated on social media.
