Surgery for Alberto Forato after Hawkstone International crash

Alberto Forato raced Hawkstone International at the weekend but took a big crash during the super final race. 

The Standing Construct Honda rider has confirmed hematoma on his left leg so had to undergo surgery. 

The good news is that he is still planning the MXGP opening round in Argentina next weekend.

“Little bump on the road to the first MXGP in Argentina!!

Last Sunday, I had a big crash in Hawkstone park (swipe to see) and came home with a huge hematoma on the left leg.

They tried to take the blood out without surgery but wasn’t possible so yesterday I had to go for it!! Everything went well and hopefully I’ll be back 100% in some days!!

Thanks to Steven Claes and all his crew and super thanks to my manneke Jens Hendrickx for the job he’s doing no stop!! Thanks also to everyone for the messages, I’ll keep you updated.
