If ever a rider was born with the mentality to ride well under pressure at a big event like the MXoN, it is Tommy Searle. And, after his win in MX2 at the weekend, Searle is riding on the quest of a wave and very motivated heading to the MXoN with team GB alongside Max Anstie – two thirds of the team that made the podium last time. And they are joined by Conrad Mewse the man who is on fire this season in the UK and battling Jeffrey Herlings at times on British soil.
Searle said: “We go again! I’m really looking forward to representing Team GB! I’m all in now the for the next weeks to do my very best. Mark Chamberlain said of his choice to add Tommy: “Tommy Searle, what can you say? 6 weeks ago, I asked if he could help with the Team to prepare leading up to the race! Tommy has come into form at the right time, and I believe is the man for the job. He is happy in the Dirt Store Kawasaki Team and it’s showing.“
