RUMOUR: Cas Valk to sign with Chambers KTM?

The rider market continues to shift as the 2026 season progresses, and one of the latest names at the centre of speculation is Dutch prospect Cas Valk. Following confirmation that he has parted ways with TM after initially signing a two-year deal, attention has quickly turned to what comes next in his career.

While his departure naturally raised questions about his immediate future, it appears Valk may have found a new ride quickly. Paddock whispers suggest that British-based outfit Chambers KTM are set to secure his services for at least the remainder of the 2026 season – he’ll contest the rest of MX2 World Championship events excluding the fly-away rounds.

A move to Chambers KTM would see Valk return to familiar machinery. The Dutch rider has previously enjoyed stints with KTM through teams such as Van Venrooy KTM and Gabriel SS24 KTM, meaning adaptation time should be minimal. His experience on the Austrian brand could prove valuable as he looks to build on a promising 2025 campaign, where he impressed in MX2 Grand Prix competition and secured the MX2 Dutch title.

The potential deal doesn’t mean that Valk will race the rest of the MX2 British Championship as the Dutch Masters of Motocross is still his priority but he could still race selected MXGB events as a wildcard.

Should the move materialise, Valk would line up alongside Ollie Colmer under the Chambers KTM awning, giving the team a two-rider presence in the MX2 World Championship. His experience at GP level could also prove beneficial for Colmer as he continues to develop. The team’s broader structure already includes Adam Sterry in MXGP and Hayden Statt in the EMX125 class, highlighting a strong multi-class effort.
