Rumour: Calvin Vlaanderen goes full factory for 2024?

The last four years Calvin Vlaanderen has been part of the Gebben van Venrooy Yamaha team and had many good times with the team despite not being a full factory. From winning GP’s, being on the box and even representing the Dutch at the MXoN, Vlaanderen has had a great MXGP career so far and credit to the Gebben van Venrooy Yamaha team as well who have worked very hard to do the best job possible.

For the 2024 season, things are going to change for the friendly MXGP rider as we believe he will become a full factory rider, something he clearly really deserves as he has been knocking on the door for a factory ride for the past couple of years.

We believe that Vlaanderen will sign with the Factory Yamaha team to contest the MXGP World Championship in 2024 which will be run by Kemea who currently run the MX2 GP Yamaha team.

Vlaanderen is expected to be under the awning with Jago Geerts in what will be his rookie season as well as Maxime Renaux – a very strong MXGP rider line up for Yamaha despite losing Jeremy Seewer.
