Results: Tampa supercross qualifying

The final 450 qualifying session took place amongst the early spits of forecast rain that had people running for cover but, fortunately it never came to anything and the riders could charge the full session.

Again, the sand section and the whoops proved the most difficult, but, after a few changes for fastest time, it was Sexton who bested Anderson and Tomac in the race for the most rapid rider at Tampa.

But the rain has come down in the interval, and, with more predicted for most of the night, everything could change come main event time!

In the 250 class, Hunter Lawrence was quickest again but Smith and Anstie were once again top three as the rest battled the sand and the whoops.
