Jett Lawrence made his fastest time of the day in the second session to take top spot over Eli Tomac who had his best time in the first session – but as usual Jett finds a way to take top spot no matter what is thrown at him! Cooper Webb, Chase Sexton and Jason Anderson rounded out the top five with Roczen back in 12th.
Michael Mosiman was the quickest overall in his first race of the year after signing with Star Yamaha – but being in the B group with conditions more favourable certainly played to his advantage.
The fastest overall in the 250 A group, which went out after Mosiman was series leader Levi Kitchen with Jo Shimoda, third and having thr fastest time in the second session, the HRC Honda rider will want to some wins on the board with a title now unlikely.
