Maxime Renaux took a huge debut win in his first MXGP moto with a straight up victory over Tim Gajser. Tim actually made the move but Renaux countered immediately and from then on Gajser could not find a way by the impressive Frenchman. Jeremy Seewer stayed in contact too but Jorge Prado dropped back in fourth but this was a huge mental win for Renaux!

Simon Laengenfelder took a sensational win in the qualifying race over Tom Vialle and Jago Geerts with the Husky boys De Wolf and Van de Moosdijk rounding out the top five. Conrad Mewse got away ninth and finished eighth and had the pace to go at the front. But Liam Everts went down in the first turn pile-up and couldn’t restart with a hand injury.
