Results: MX2 qualifying race Lommel

Kay de Wolf took the win and celebrated with a heel clicker with Benistant and Geerts following him home in second and third but the big story was Tom Vialle.

The French rider went down in turn one along with Everts and poleman Laengenfelder but Vialle was forced to pull out with what appeared to be mechanical and he will have last gate pick tomorrow.

Laengenfelder pulled through the field to seventh with Everts taking eighth off Guyon in the final lap on a brutally rough circuit with the heat not making things any easier!
