Jett Lawrence and Ken Roczen went quickest in their respective classes at Budds Creek with EMX250 rider, Farres, going tenth fastest in his 250 AMA debut on the Star Yamaha and the Americans bewildered at his debut speed, appearing to have no knowledge of his EMX250 and even MX2 pace in 2022.
Ken Roczen and Tony Cairoli made it a European 1 – 2 in the 450 class with Cairoli looking much more prepared than his first couple of races in May. Tomac, Sexton and Ferrandis rounded out the top five.
Four of the 250 top ten are not American with three of the top five in the 450 class also international riders in the American’s home series. Remarkable.
