The second round of the 2025 Ulster Championship took place on Easter Monday, with the hard-pack circuit of Loughbrickland playing host. Known for its old-school layout, the track delivered a great day of racing—and it was encouraging to see another strong rider turnout.
Local favourite Jason Meara was in fine form once again, delivering a perfect performance at his home circuit. The MotoCycle GasGas rider secured a hat trick of wins to claim the overall victory and further strengthen his grip on the championship.
The experienced Martin Barr also lined up and had a solid day, finishing second overall with consistent 4-2-2 moto scores.
It was a welcome sight to see Lennox Dickinson back racing on home soil, and he made his presence felt by securing a podium spot in third overall. Meanwhile, Cailum Meara impressed with a strong and steady ride to take fourth overall, just ahead of the consistent Nathan Green who rounded out the top five.
With solid racing and good crowds, the Ulster Championship continues to build momentum heading into the next round.
