Race One: It was Simon Längenfelder who got another good start but this time on the first lap, Guillem Farres and Sacha Coenen made moves on the German. Farres looked superb at the front just controlling the lead. At the end, Längenfelder was riding well and caught Coenen but couldn’t make a move on the young Belgian.
Janis Reisulis rode well in fourth with home hero, Camden McLellan rounding out the top five – he needs a better start in race two.
Race Two: There was drama up the first turn and around the first corner as both KTM’s kept it pinned – it saw Coenen go off the track and at the back. Farres had a similar race than the first race but without less pressure dominating the event – impressive!
Längenfelder had a lonely ride in second whilst Coenen had a crash on the opening lap which saw him with a lot of work to do – despite a damaged bike he got back to sixth but Farres is now only 14 points back.
After being passed by McLellan, Reisulis dug deep and passed the South African back to get himself on the podium!
