Race results: MX2 World Championship RD10 – Agueda – Farres domination

Race One: It was Julius Mikula who took the holeshot on his Osicka KTM and he celebrated like he won a race! It didn’t take Guillem Farres long to get himself to the front and he totally dominated making it look easy at the front of the field.

Janis Reisulis had a superb ride to finish in second. Sacha Coenen had a disaster on the first lap after crashing and going back to last but the Belgian charged back to sixth.

Simon Längenfelder looks more like himself this weekend and was comfortable in third until two laps to go when McLellan was on him but the German fought to keep his third spot.

Race Two: It was much of the same for Farres in race two as nobody else saw the way he went. It was Reisulis who was riding great in second for around half the race before Coenen made a move but the Belgian had nothing for Farres. It was Farres’ second MX2 GP overall win but the first 1-1-1 of his career.

Everts came through to third despite nearly getting taken out by a backmarker on the last lap but he managed to stay on. Reisulis went back to fourth but will be delighted with the first MX2 GP career podium of his career.

Farres got docked 5 championship points for jumping a waved yellow flag!
