After winning the qualifying race yesterday, Lotte Van Drunen didn’t disappoint on race day either as she dominated proceedings – what a talent she is! It was a comfortable 1-1 for her at Kaplice and she’ll now prepare for the EMX85 final at Riola and don’t surprised to see her win there either!
Kenneth Gundersen’s son, Pelle was in action at what was one of his first races outside of Norway and he had a great day finishing second overall ahead of Sandro Sools.
After a promising qualifying, Cole McCullough showed more impressive speed on race day but starts hindered him once again. In the first moto he came from outside the top twenty to an impressive fourth. The second moto was similar as he worked himself up to fourth again but crashed out with three laps to go in what would have been a fantastic result. Ninth overall is still a good day though and a great learning experience.
In the EMX65 class there was no stopping Dex van den Broek as the Dutch talent went 1-1 and will be looking to do the business at Riola to win the title.
