Race One: It was a sick Janis Reisulis who had a great ride to take the win in the first moto. He didn’t have the best of starts but made plenty of moves on the first lap. He was then able to pass Doensen for the lead and brought home the win.
Doensen had some pressure behind from Garcia and then stalled which promoted the Spaniard up to second but Doensen still rode well for third.
Bradley Mesters was riding great in fourth but then had an issue which allowed Hakon Osterhagen to bring home a brilliant fourth. It’s nice to see the Norwegian right back at the sharp end after a tough time.
Noel Zanocz didn’t look comfortable despite running in the top three at the beginning but dropped down to fifth – he’ll be looking for much more in race two.
Race Two: It was Doensen who took the holeshot again on his SS24 Gabriel KTM. Janis Reisulis was well positioned and it didn’t take him long to get into the lead to dominate and go 1-1 in front of his home crowd. The track was very skethcy and rough for the second moto.
Zanocz was the man on the move after an average start but he was able to make a number of passes and ended up catching and passing Doensen which secured him a podium. The reason for his struggles in the first race was because he had no rear brake.
Kokins rode well to come home in fourth with Owens rounding out the top five.
Skovbjerb hasn’t been getting good starts but again he charged through the field to an impressive sixth passing Garcia on the final lap.
