Race One: It was VRT Yamaha riders, Ivano van Erp and Karlis Reisulis who were leading the way on the opening lap after getting good starts. Reisulis had a small tip over on the first lap which allowed Cas Valk into second who then set his sights on his fellow country man, van Erp.

Valk was able to make the move and into the lead but Reisulis was on the move again. The home hero caught Valk but the latter rode really well to hold him off for the win.

Valerio Lata didn’t get the best of starts but passed Mathis Valin to secure fourth with the BUD Kawasaki rider rounding out the top five.

Joe Brookes had a superb ride on his 426 Motorsport KTM machine finishing seventh behind Spanish rookie, Elias Escandell.

Race Two: The second moto was a cracker! Reisulis held the lead but Valk started to close the gap and he was brining Lata with him. With a couple of laps to go you could throw a blanket over all three riders.

As Valk was trying to work on Reisulis for the lead, Lata used that to his advantage and made a move on Valk with a lap to go.

The young Italian who this season has made a lot of moves on the last lap of moto’s did the same here and made a move for Reisulis for the race win. Valk then tried to sneak into second on the final lap but Reisulis held on but third was still enough for Valk to win the overall.

Van Erp ended up another fourth ahead of Valin who rounded out the top five.
