Race results: EMX250 RD6 – Rossi wins at Teutschenthal

Race One: It was Andrea Bonacorsi who took the holeshot but Ferruccio Zanchi put in a quick lap to lead the way. The Italian was on fire and pulled away at the front to totally dominate proceedings. Bonacorsi rode a comfortable race in second before being caught by his team mate Ivano van Erp who was riding the hard pack conditions very well but Bonacorsi held on for second. Marc-Antoine Rossi took a crash when in third but regrouped to come back up to fourth.

Race Two: Marc-Antoine Rossi grabbed the holeshot in the second moto and never looked back – he looked superb on his VRT KTM. 4-1 was enough to win the overall and surprisingly it’s his first EMX250 podium! Zanchi didn’t get a good start and whilst he was working his way through crashed seeing him drop back to eighteenth but he recovered well to ninth.

Bonacorsi rode solid for third to secure second overall. Kay Karssemakers rode better in race two for second to secure another podium on his BT Husqvarna.
