Race results: EMX125 RD4 – France

Race One:

Stylish French rider, Marc-Antoine Rossi put in a superb performance to take his first EMX125 race win in front of his home crowd. He held the early lead but Bobby Bruce made an early pass, the Brit then had a couple of crashes though which cost him a potential race win.  It allowed Rossi to take the win – the French rider is one to keep an eye on as he’s under the watchful eye of Seb Pourcel.

Valerio Lata rode really well to come through and pass Bruce for second to gain more championship points heading into moto two at an old-school track at Lacapelle-Marival.

After a late crash in race one, Ferruccio Zanchi bounced back in style to pull a comfortable gap in race two to take the win. It was Italian, Velerio Lata who took the overall win with a 2-2 but he came under pressure from the impressive Lucas Coenen late in race two as the pair caught Zanchi.

Despite having the championship lead, it was actually Lata’s first overall win of the season and he’s also extending his points lead. Bobby Bruce was looking good in third before a crash demoted him and after that he was riding with a damaged bike.
