Francisco Garcia set the pace in the first qualifying group – it’s like he’s never been away. Francesco Bellei was second fastest with his team mate, Mads Fredsoe third. Sebastian Leok put in a strong lap to go fourth fastest.
Simone Mancini set the pace in group two on his Ducati ahead of Jake Cannon. Joe Brookes was fast in third with Nicolò Alvisi fourth.
