EMX125 champion, Ricardo Bauer set the pace in qualifying. The Norman KTM rider was eight tenths of a second faster than Emil Ziemer.
Ryan Oppliger was third fastest in what was a KTM 1-2-3.
Sleny Goyer was fourth with Moritz Ernecker rounding out the top five.
